It is important to read over your syllabus when it becomes available online, so you have adequate time to complete reading or other assignments due prior to your first class.

Since the Blackboard Learn website is where all class information will be stored, make sure you are up to speed on how to navigate the site ahead of time. Remember, your Blackboard password is the same one you use for my.LFGSM.

In addition to your syllabus, Blackboard often contains detailed information about each class “session,” representing one week’s worth of at-home preparation and what to expect during class. To view the pre-class work for the first week, click on the “Session 1” tab on the left-hand side of the course screen.
